ART ON MAIN - BUSKERS UNITE!!!!

Hi Everyone!

New friends of ours, Gary Matthias and Jose Avalos, introduced us to "ART ON MAIN"!!  Art on Main is a grass roots movement created to encourage and celebrate Lake Elsinore's Arts, Culture and Busking experience.  The event is held on the sidewalks of Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore among many interesting shops, restaurants and City Hall. Every Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm buskers take to the streets displaying their artistic wares, meeting Lake Elsinore locals and visitors alike.  

What is BUSKING?  Street entertainment or Busking is the act of performing in public places for gratuities.  Busking is generally associated with singing or playing music.

AFRICAN NOUVEAU SCULPTURE

Discovered a wonderful sculptor, "Woodrow Nash", from a Facebook friend of mine today. Just wanted to share his powerful portraits of what he calls, "African Nouveau".  So many extraordinary visages, tantalizing pigments and sensuous body adornment.  Mesmerizing.....especially the absence of the eyes.
